Whether you’re an experienced pro or a first time computer builder, the Asus M4A89GTD PRO motherboard is for you.

First off, it has AMD’s AM3 socket, so it’ll support all 140 watt Phenom II, Athlon II, and Sempron 100 processors with ease. It supports up to four sticks of DDR3 RAM, for a maximum capacity of 16GB 1866MHz DDR3 RAM. Don’t worry about adding a separate graphics card either; this motherboard comes with an Integrated ATI Radeon HD 4290 GPU with one VGA and one DVI port and 512MB of video RAM. But the graphics potential doesn’t stop there, you can have up to two crossfire cards running alongside the integrated graphics for even better performance.

This motherboard has a total of 14 USB ports, 2 FireWire ports, 6 Serial ATA 6.0 GB/s headers, 1 DVI port and 1 HDMI port.

Ports and plugins aside, the real seller of this board is the features. One of the most popular features of this board is the “CPU Unlocker” switch on the board. With most 2 core and 3 core AMD processors, one of the cores is not in use. Turning on the CPU unlocker gives you full control of all cores.

This board is a steal at only $175! If you are building a computer I highly recommend it!
