Put Windows Explorer On Steroids

Do you find that you spend way too much time sifting through your files than actually getting things done? Is Windows Explorer lacking? Well then look no further than this article.

It’s a typical scenario, you want to email your friend photos of your family’s vacation. Simple, right? Only one problem… you have a massive photo library and rooting through your thousands of pictures could eat up time that you could be spending being productive. You can’t use the built-in Windows Search because that’s just a bloated waste of time and energy. So, what do you do?

You get a nifty little program called CubicExplorer, that’s what you do. CubicExplorer has a simple, no nonsense interface with lots of powerful features to help you get stuff done as fast as possible. Period. main_window

When you first open CubicExplorer, there’s no welcome screen, no ads, no tutorials, nothing. It just gets straight down to business, ready to take on whatever you throw at it. Now, this is no ordinairy Windows Explorer, this thing is a beast that’s fully equipped with all the tools of the trade. Search, different views, cut copy and paste and tabbed browsing are just some of the many things this program can do.

So, let’s talk about some of the key features, shall we? Well, search is one of the huge ones. You access it by clicking the big magnifying glass beside the recycle bin icon and the picture icon. Now, this isn’t your average everyday search tool (as you might have expected). You get advanced options like searching by file mask, only searching in certain areas and searching by file type. You also have full access to the files that you search for (You can cut, copy and delete them and even edit text documents). I will admit though, It dosen’t have a massive array of advanced search options like some search programs do but c’mon, this is still awesome!

There are a lot of other useful features in CubicExplorer such as bookmarking and session saving. Overall I think that this program is great for anyone with a huge file library that wastes too much time on Windows Explorer. CubicExplorer gets a 4/5 from me.
