What’s New In The New MacBook Pro?

Posted on October 29, 2008

About a week ago, Apple announced their new line of Macs. All macbooks and macbook pros were getting major overhauls. So, lets take a look at whats going on with the macbook pro.

1. New aluminum unibody enclosure supposedly leaves less room for error and more room for productivity. Instead of putting many pieces of metal together thus requiring time and space, the designers have crafted a sleek unibody aluminum case. This allows for reduced weight, time and overall price.

2. No trackpad button. One of the features of the new Macbook Pro is that there is no trackpad button. Instead, you use the glass multi-touch trackpad as the button. Now, i know that you can do this with other laptops. But I have never really been a fan of doing it. As being mostly a desktop user. It will take a bit to get used to not having a button.

3. Fresh out of the box, and already the new macbook pro is a performance powerhouse. It packs the integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400M for exceptional graphics while still maintaining a 5 hour battery life. Also, the new macbook pro sports the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors to let you work and play that much faster. Tired of messing with graphics connector cables? Well rest easy knowing that with every new Macbook Pro comes the Mini DisplayPort. This is a full-featured graphics port but with less hassles. Just a quick plug and its go time!

So with all these new features and improved performance, who wouldn’t say yes to a new Macbook Pro this holiday season?
